Power outage and hurricane “Oscar” in Cuba: six dead

Tropical Cyclone Oscar has caused at least six deaths and severe damage in eastern Cuba. In Guantánamo province, entire areas are flooded and rescue workers cannot reach the affected areas, said President Miguel Díaz-Canel. According to authorities, at least 1,000 houses were damaged. In addition, the socialist-governed Caribbean island with around ten million inhabitants was largely in darkness for the fourth night in a row.
