Arhan is currently defending the South Korean club, Suwon FC. The 2024/2025 K-League 1 club has four more matches left.
Currently, Suwon FC is fighting with five other clubs in the Championship play-off match to win the 2024/2025 K-League 1 title.

This lack of competition seems to have been exploited by Semen Padang’s founder and Arhan’s father-in-law, Andre Rosiade.
He is likely to bring Arhan in until the player gets another offer. This is as hinted by Andre Rosiade on his social media.

In fact, Suwon FC has offered a contract extension, but it is not certain that Pratama Arhan will agree. The reason is that in the 34 matches he has played, Pratama Arhan has only played two matches.
Even then, Pratama Arhan played for three minutes in these two matches. Meanwhile, Pratama Arhan’s opportunity to join Semen Padang is quite large.
He can come to Semen Padang in the second round of Liga 1 2024/2025 which starts in early January 2025. Moreover, his father-in-law also has an important position at the proud Ranah Minang club.
“How will Indonesian national team supporters do if they take two months off before joining their club next season and to maintain their condition, Pratama Arhan plays at Semen Padang?” asked Andre Rosiade.
However, the potential for Arhan to join Semen Padang is considered impossible. The reason is, he has a special agreement with his old club, PSIS Semarang.
When Arhan left PSIS for Tokyo Verdy in 2022, Arhan and the club agreed that wherever the player took his career abroad, his return would remain with PSIS.
This special agreement was revealed by PSIS Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Yoyok Sukawi. He said that PSIS did not get a fee at all when they released Arhan to Tokyo Verdy.
Yoyok Sukawi said that this was proof of PSIS’s commitment to prioritizing Pratama Arhan’s career.
“Today, with pride and joy, we announce that the wonderkid who graduated from the PSIS Academy, Pratama Arhan, has officially been released to the Japanese club Tokyo Verdy,” said Yoyok Sukawi, quoted from the club’s official website.
“In accordance with PSIS’s commitment, we are releasing Arhan without a single rupiah fee. This is for the sake of Arhan’s career. This is also a matter of pride for PSIS because academy graduates can be attracted to Japanese clubs,” said Yoyok Sukawi.
Furthermore, Yoyok Sukawi revealed that Pratama Arhan will remain the PSIS brand ambassador during his career abroad.
It is hoped that this step will help promote the name PSIS Semarang on the international stage.
Apart from that, Pratama Arhan and his agent Dusan Bodganovic have agreed to continue defending PSIS Semarang if they one day return to Indonesia.
“While Arhan is abroad, he remains the PSIS brand ambassador with the hope of being able to promote the PSIS name on the international stage,” said Yoyok Sukawi.
“Not only that, between us, PSIS, Arhan, and Arhan’s agent have agreed on how far Arhan will play abroad. When he returns to Indonesia, Arhan will return to PSIS as the home that has raised Arhan all this time,” explained Yoyok Sukawi.
