PSG-Mbappé conflict: the League orders PSG to pay 55 million euros to its former player, the club refuses

In the dispute between him and PSG, Kylian Mbappé is demanding 55 million euros in unpaid salaries and other bonuses from his former club. Seized by the Blues striker, the LFP legal commission recommended mediation last month but, faced with the player’s refusal, it immediately asked PSG to pay the 55 million within a week.

PSG appealed. The case was heard on October 15. This Friday, the LFP joint appeals committee in turn asked the club to pay this sum to its former striker. The club immediately made it known that it refused to pay and was bringing the matter before the competent courts, “while continuing to try to find an amicable solution with the player,” it said in a press release.

“In law and in fact, the player has made clear and repeated public and private commitments which the club simply asks him to honor and respect in view of the unprecedented advantages he has received from the Club for 7 years at Paris, says a PSG spokesperson. The club hopes that the word given will be respected knowing that if the player unfortunately decides to continue this dispute, the club will be forced to have him tried by the competent courts and to recognize the damage he has suffered and continues to suffer as a result. of the incomprehensible position of his former player. It is indeed a question of good faith, honesty, maintaining values and respect for the Parisian institution and its supporters. »
