PSG-PSV Eindhoven: the official composition of the Parisians with Lee and Fabian Ruiz starting, Vitinha replacing

True to form, Luis Enrique reserved some choice surprises to face PSV Eindhoven this Tuesday evening (9 p.m.) for the 3rd day of the Champions League. The most surprising comes from the midfield side with the decision to place Vitinha on the substitutes’ bench.

The Portuguese, an essential cog in the Spaniard’s system, does not start and leaves his place to Joao Neves at the sentry post. This change also benefits Fabian Ruiz, starting as a relay player, while Warren Zaire-Emery completes the Parisian midfield.

Return of Marquinhos, Hakimi and Nuno Mendes

The other strong choice for the PSG technician is to be found at the attacker position. As against Arsenal, it is Kang-In Lee who will occupy the role of false number 9. The South Korean, scorer coming off the bench on Saturday against Strasbourg (4-2), is preferred to Marco Asensio. Back from injury, Randal Kolo Muani is on the bench. Next to him, it’s classic, on the other hand with Bradley Barcola on the left and Ousmane Dembélé on the right.

On the defensive side, we find an unchanging quartet with Achraf Hakimi starting as right back, Nuno Mendes on the left, and the central hinge made up of Marquinhos and Willian Pacho. In goal, Gianluigi Donnarumma starts without surprise.

The composition of PSG: Donnarumma – Hakimi, Marquinhos (cap.), Pacho, Nuno Mendes- Zaïre-Emery, Joao Neves, Fabian Ruiz – Dembélé, Lee, Barcola.
