Lautaro Rinaldi opened the scoring for Flintstone in the second half, Ruben Bentancourt – from a penalty – equalized it in the final stretch and Matías Núñez – also from the maximum penalty – gave the victory to the team led by Edgar Martínez, who was comfortable thinking about permanence: three places above the relegation zone.

Those led by Martín Lasarte sought to impose conditions from the beginning, although with more intention than precision. The first shot of play in the match was for the visitor through the Argentine Alexis Castro, who took a cross shot that was lost outside one minute into the game.

Both teams were uncertain at the beginning of the match. The Tricolor was announced when it attacked, so it tried to offend through timid mid-distance attempts: first Jeremía Recoba sent his high high and then again Castro tried with a bitten shot that the Flintstones goalkeeper Andrés Samurio controlled.

The deep-pocketed team lacked rhythm and dynamics from midfield forward, which is why the local team was encouraged to advance little by little on the field. At 18′, Rampla had his first chance at the feet of Juan Pablo Plada, but he sent his mid-distance shot quite high.

In the 20th minute, Leandro Lozano got involved in the attack from the right and placed a pass looking for Lucas Sanabria, who placed a cross from the right to the first post of the area, where Ruben Bentancourt anticipated the Ramplense defense but his shot was lost outside.

At 22′, Samurio denied Bolso an opening by sending the ball to the corner with a good intervention after a free kick by Jeremía Recoba, in the clearest play of the game until then. From there came a center of Served Nicolás López connected with a Bentancourt header, but the ball went high.

With the direct play of Sebastián Coates, Nacional gradually got closer and closer to the rival goal. However, a weak shot by Castro that went wide and another by Diente López that went high after Bentancourt’s clearance gave Edgar Martínez’s team peace of mind.

Until, when 37 minutes of play had passed, Lucas Bassadone and Diego Rosa made a great play in which the first mentioned placed a cross in the heart of the area for the Argentine attacker Lautaro Rinaldi, who after beating Mateo Antoni’s back was left alone. facing the goal and pushed the ball to open the scoring.

After the goal conceded, Nacional turned off and felt the blow. However, he had the last chance of the complement at the feet of Jeremía Recoba, who sent his shot over the horizontal.

Regarding the complement, Lasarte sent three variants: Mauricio Pereyra, Diego Zabala and Antonio Galeano entered for Jeremía Recoba, Christian Oliva and Nicolás López.

With the changes and the emotional push, Nacional went out into the second half in search of equality and quickly had the first chance at 46′, when Bentancourt forced a save from Samurio that ended in a corner kick. Later, at 52′, Enrique Almeida missed a counterattack and tried his luck from mid-distance with a shot that went very high.

In the 59th minute, a tricolor offensive side from the left crossed the entire area and landed at the feet of Leandro Lozano, who took a powerful shot that was lost across the outside, when Samurio was unable to deflect it.

At 64′, Lasarte sent the fourth substitution onto the field: Paraguayan Federico Santander replaced Alexis Castro. Minutes later, Lucas Sanabria was cautioned and received the fifth yellow card, so he will not be against Cerro.

The last tricolor change was forced: Mauricio Pereyra felt and asked for the change at 74′, so Lasarte decided to give a hint to Nicolás el Little eye Rodríguez.

In the 83rd minute, Lozano sent the ball to the middle of the area, but it met Tomás Adoryan on the way, who cut the ball off with his hands, so Javier Burgos was awarded a penalty. Bentancourt changed the incident for a goal.

The last minutes were pure tricolor dominance, as the home team pushed forward with the support of their fans and the emotional boost of the tying goal. However, this situation allowed the local team to come out quickly on the counterattack and generate a penalty in added time, when Albo was badly stopped in defense and Mejía knocked down Adoryan, and, in response to this, Burgos took a penalty: Núñez changed it for goal.
