Suddenly there were pictures of a fight between <a href="https://www.archysport.com/2022/05/latvias-opponent-sweden-adds-two-more-nhl-players/" title="Latvia's opponent Sweden adds two more NHL players”>Rasmus Dahlin and Peyton Krebs.

During the night, the Swedish NHL team captain apologized for his actions.

– I regret it now… I apologized, says Dahlin.

It got rowdy at Buffalo Sabers practice late last night.

So much so that the new team captain, the Swedish star defender Rasmus Dahlin, ended up in a fight with one of his teammates.

The 24-year-old tackled colleague Peyton Krebs during a practice, which is not the norm. Afterwards, they were both seen in a clip that was spread on X dishing out several punches in the brawl that teammates had to break up afterward.

After training, Dahlin himself answered about what happened.

– Such things happen out there. I regret it now… I apologized to Krebs. Everything is calm, but it was really badly done by me. I wouldn’t have done it. But you compete out there and want to get better all the time, so that’s good, he says News4.

“He grabbed me…”

The Swede has received both rice and praise from experts in North America after his move, but Peyton Krebs himself was not overly critical.

– He grabbed me and gave me a driver in the face, but it’s calm. You compete and fight hard. You train as you play, that’s good. We are good friends.

Coach Lindy Ruff didn’t want to make a big deal out of the emotions-

– That’s how it is between the boys. We work hard at training and don’t attach much importance to that. In between, there will be a lot of emotions.

Rasmus Dahlin has an assist in the opening four NHL games, of which the Sabers lost the first three. He was appointed on September 26 as the new team captain at the club.
