The last matches of this 2024-2025 pre-season reserved some surprises with the big rotations put in place and the Frenchman of the evening is called Rayan Rupert. The Portland winger, coming off the bench, was a great architect of his team’s victory against Utah (124-86).
In almost 23 minutes and despite a lack of success behind the arc (1/5 from 3 points), he finished with 20 points (9/14 from shooting), 4 rebounds and 2 assists. A good message sent to kick off his second season in Oregon.
Like Rupert, Pacôme Dadiet had playing time to show himself with New York on the Washington floor. Despite his team’s defeat conceded in the final moments (117-118), the 25th in the last draft had 17 minutes to score 10 points with little waste along the way. He will not have encountered his compatriots Alexandre Sarr and Bilal Coulibaly, left to rest by the Wizards.
