Boris Nicolai came straight from a competition in Sardinia and Tim Hellwig from Toulouse. He is currently in the Bundeswehr and would like to continue his professional career. Participation in the next Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028 is a goal of his young career. Boris Nicolai works as a mechanical engineering technician and plans his sporting career year after year. The European Championships are coming up next year and the World Championships in two years.

“We are proud to have such talented athletes from our region,” says Mayor Dr. Ulli Meyer and asks both athletes to sign the Golden Book of the city of St. Ingbert. Marvin Seidel, an Olympian in the sport of badminton, was unfortunately unable to attend. The entry in the Golden Book will be made up.
