The APSASD Polisportiva Arcieri Cascinesi of Cascina organizes the final of the Regional Targa Archery Championship 2024 (FITARCO), for the third consecutive year. The competition will take place from the morning of Sunday 25 August 2024 at the Redini stadium in Cascina. Over 160 athletes from across the region will be present, as well as high-profile competitive athletes, including athletes from the National Group who hold Italian, European and world records. The qualifying match will start at 9.00 and will continue throughout the day with the phase of direct clashes between the best scores, with the same formula as the Olympic clashes. The association, present in the area since 1992, has participated with its athletes in numerous Italian championships, has collaborated with the Antonio Pesenti sports high school for over 18 years, to offer recreational sports training to students and includes among its activities, in addition to archery also historical reconstruction and medieval combat. The association will also welcome the visit of the representatives of the Cascine institutions, who will officially preside over the opening ceremony and the award ceremony of the athletes at the end of the competition. The results of the competition will be available on the website of the Italian Archery Federation.
