Regional Youth Camp Fiba Girls Abidjan 2024: Okpeyemi Honorine Laourou, the Beninese ambassador

The International Basketball Federation (Fiba) is organizing a regional basketball camp for the benefit of young girls. Called Regional Youth Camp Fiba Girls, it will take place in Abidjan in 2024 with the presence of Benin.

22! This is the number of countries invited to the Regional Youth Camp for girls in Abidjan. Benin will be represented by Okpeyemi Honorine Laourou. Thus, after the Regional Youth camp for boys from October 14 to 17, 2024 in Douala, Africa will join Abidjan for the Girls camp from October 21 to 24, 2024 at the Palais des Sports in Treichville and will bring together the best female talents in Africa.

More than 200 athletes and basketball coaches are expected on the banks of the Ebrié lagoon for the women’s basketball festival with the promotion of the genre in mind. This internship is organized by Fiba as part of its development program in Africa. This elite basketball camp aims to improve the overall level of African Basketball.

Okpeyemi Honorine Laourou was selected by FIBA ​​Africa based on her exceptional basketball skills and leadership abilities. FIBA Africa Regional Youth Camp 2024 will be a unique opportunity, and will allow players to improve their basketball skills, by being coached by FIBA ​​and NBA experts and by rubbing shoulders with other African basketball players in their age category.
