Because Switzerland has a “protecting power mandate”, it represents Iran the interests of the USA. Is that why she is particularly lenient with the mullahs? We discuss our countries’ relationship with Iran. Even during the Shah‘s time, many Iranians fled to Germany, and a particularly large number of them pursued special careers here.
