Rolex Paris Masters 2024: the draw draws a possible Alcaraz-Sinner final

It was the last draw for the Rolex Paris Masters to play within the walls of the Accor Arena. After 38 years at Bercy, the tournament will migrate to the Paris Defense Arena in 2025. The tournament whose draw was made by Richard Gasquet and without Novak Djokovic, who is not coming to seek an 8th title, could reserve the perfect poster in the final between Carlos Alcaraz already winner in Paris and at Roland-Garros at the spring and the world number 1, the Italian Jannik Sinner. The two men cannot face each other until the final Sunday. Except that the road to that point is still long.

The Italian will probably have to cross paths with Alexander Zverev, seeded number 3, Holger Rune who could be a rival in 8th, Taylor Fritz or Stefanos Tsitsipas. Alcaraz inherited Daniil Medvedev, seeded number 5, as his main competitor.

The French were not spoiled in the draw by their compatriot Richard Gasquet. Only Ugo Humbert (16th) and Arthur Fils (20th) are in the final table while Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (50th), Adrian Mannarino (57th), Arthur Rinderknech (61st) Richard Gasquet who benefits from invitations from the FFT are in the lower part of the table.

Son against Cilic in the first round

They will have tough opponents from the first round. Ugo Humbert will face the American Brandon Nakashima (38th) in the first round. Arthur Fils will start against former world number 3 Marin Cilic, down to 202nd place but still dangerous. Six French people are also competing in the qualifications from October 26: Alexandre Müller (68th), Corentin Moutet (70th), Hugo Gaston (73rd), Arthur Cazaux (80th), Quentin Halys (90th) and Harold Mayot (106th).
