Football supporters are not averse to a beer, but there will not be much drinking in the away section of OH Leuven this Sunday. The supporters of Royal Antwerp are planning a boycott after measures by the police and the Leuven football club.
Away fans are not allowed to bring flags into the stands. “This affects our identity,” says Dominik Van Landeghem, chairman of the Antwerp supporters federation. “The expression of our colors and passion is a basic right. We call on you not to order anything, and in return we will treat you with 1,000 pints before and after the match.”
