Russell Wilson makes debut as Steelers win against Jets

Beanie Bishop Jr. had an extraordinary game, the rookie cornerback had two interceptions of Aaron Rodgers in important moments of the game that undoubtedly gave a different energy to the team and were vital in the Steelers‘ victory.

“I can’t say enough things about young Beanie Bishop, it’s an incredible night for him and having his first two interceptions against a golden sack like Aaron Rodgers” commented our head coach.

The truth is it is comforting to see the team’s performance and see a stat line with Wilson with 250+ yards and two touchdowns, Najee Harris with 100+ yards and a touchdown and George Pickens with 100+ yards, 5 targets and a score.

“I feel like we got stronger as the game went on on all three fronts, we made incredible plays on all three fronts and elevated our game, especially in a setting like this on primetime television.” commented Coach Tomlin

This was the Steelers’ second consecutive victory and now it will be their turn to face the New York Giants again in prime time next Monday, October 28 at Acrisure Stadium. We will talk more about the next opponent in the week.
