Saint-Gaudens. The archers of Sède aim at the center of the target in their found room

The Archers of Sède, this dynamic association has just found their gym, located behind the old Leclerc, next to the Saint-Gaudens climbing gym. After several months of work to bring it up to standard, the room is now operational and archery lessons have resumed more comfortably. This sport, which uses many muscles and requires intense concentration, is ideal for developing self-confidence.

At the end of September, the general assembly was held in the Jules Ribet room in Saint Gaudens, kindly loaned by rugby league. At this meeting, the office was partially renewed. After two years of volunteering, president Romain Vinyals has decided to resign. The association’s results show constant evolution, which is very encouraging. The new office is now made up of Pierre Ausset as president, Jean-François Desbrosses as vice-president, Nadine Eychenne treasurer and Lysa Vermon secretary. This year has been full of events. On September 14, the association participated in the association forum at the Cube de Saint Gaudens, and on September 29, it had a stand during the “Autreviens mon village” event in Valentine. In addition, on October 26, the Archers of Sède will organize an initiation day from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., allowing everyone to discover this exciting sport.

For almost forty years, the Archers de Sède have welcomed a varied audience, from 10 years old, and are also open to people with reduced mobility. This inclusiveness is part of their mission, allowing everyone to thrive through archery. The association continues to grow and provide opportunities to all who wish to try their hand at this exciting sport.
