The gingerbread has been available in the supermarkets since August, the temperatures will soon be cooler and for the Altmünster Christ child that means: warm up your wings quickly, because the Christmas wish tree at the municipal office is ready again! Together with the Christ child, you can fulfill a Christmas wish for fellow citizens who are currently struggling financially.
The Christmas Wish Tree campaign is aimed at people from Altmünster, Neukirchen & Reindlmühl with low incomes. They can fill out a piece of paper with a request of up to €40.00 to Ms. Eva Situk (Social Department) throughout November. The note is then hung on the wishing tree in the foyer of the community office. Anyone who would like to help can make wishes from the tree from December 1, 2024. The “wish fulfillers” then bring the goods, vouchers, etc. to Ms. Situk at the municipal office, where they are passed on anonymously.
“In recent years there have been numerous citizens whose support has made many eyes light up on Christmas Eve,” says Mayor Martin Pelzer.
