Monza wins 3-0 (1-0) in Verona in the postponed eighth matchday of Serie A, achieving its first success of the season. At the Bentegodi, Alessandro Nesta’s team took the lead already in the 9th minute with a volley from Dany Mota following a cross from Caprari, defending the lead until the break without risking too much. In the second half, with Verona all ahead, the Brianza team scored two more times on the counterattack again with Dany Mota and then with Bianco.
