Perugia has chosen the person who will have to lead the team out of the storm. The new coach is Lamberto Zauliwho the general public knows for having worn the shirts of Vicenza, Bologna and Palermo as a player.
Romano, born in 1971, will succeed Alessandro Vittorio Formisano, relieved of his duties this morning, and will lead the first training session this afternoon at 3pm.
The shock changed the club’s plans: again in the afternoon, but at 4.30pm, president Javier Faroni was supposed to speak, but his press conference was postponed to a later date. The presentation of the new red and white coach will take place at 5.30pm.

We remember that Lamberto Zauli was a talented former attacking midfielder with past stints in prestigious clubs such as Vicenza (where he reached the semi-final of the Cup Winners’ Cup against Chelsea), Palermo, Sampdoria and Bologna, with over 300 appearances and 48 goals between Serie A and B .
Today at 3pm the coach will lead the first training session (doors open).
