The Garuda Asia squad is scheduled to play a series of qualifying matches for the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup which will take place from 23 to 27 October 2024 in Kuwait.
Nova Arianto‘s troops are in Group G with hosts Kuwait, Australia and the Northern Mariana Islands.
The Indonesian U-17 national team will play their first match against hosts Kuwait on Wednesday (23/10/2024) at 21.30 WIB.
Ahead of the opening match, Nova Arianto received additional strength after Shin Tae-yong gave permission for one of his trusted people to join the Garuda Asia squad.
Choi Ju-yong is the mainstay doctor of the senior squad who will now help the U-17 Indonesian National Team in Kuwait.
