A fun discovery session around judo was offered last Wednesday to around twenty children aged 4 to 10 from the children’s area, the majority of whom had only a vague idea of what judo was.
This animation was orchestrated by the Subdrean section of Bourges judo and professor Yann Bothy. During school hours, on Wednesdays, he also runs the judo club upstairs, above the town hall, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The teacher first explained the rules of this sport: respect, politeness, honor, friendship etc. After an essential warm-up, he presented some basic gestures, without forgetting the teaching of salvation.
