Sinner gets Alcaraz and a big jackpot

Six million dollars for three small victories: this is the sum collected by Jannik Sinner after his success on Saturday against Carlos Alcaraz in the final of the Six Kings Slam, an exhibition tournament.

It’s already the end of the Six Kings Slam, an exhibition tournament in Saudi Arabia. If the show was stolen by the match for third place between Nadal and Djokovic for their last clash, Sinner and Alacarz met in the final.

The Italian, executioner of Medvedev and Djokovic, found his best enemy, victorious against Rune and Nadal. In a match that was still contested, the Italian won in three sets (6-7, 6-3, 6-3). Nice points but an intensity far from the best duels in an official tournament between these two players.

Beyond registering her name on the list of winners of this very first Six Kings Slam, the winner could offer herself quite a jackpot. Jannik Sinner pocketed the modest sum of 6 million dollars, or nearly 5.5 million euros. A sum almost identical to that which he received for his double in the Grand Slam Australian Open – US Open, all in just three matches.

A staggering, disproportionate amount, but worthy of the ambitions of the Gulf country which hopes to establish itself more in the world of sport and the little yellow ball.
