SLO Badminton celebrates Halloween

The SLO Badminton players met on Wednesday, October 16 in the evening, at the gymnasium of the Jean-Jaurès complex, to celebrate the holidays and Halloween. The club, which has resumed training since the beginning of September, is doing well and currently has 46 members. “Our licensees have doubled since the start of the school year, surely with the effect of the Olympic Games. We have a lot of young people and competitors,” underlined Perrine Marchand, president of SLO Badminton.

Twenty-seven bad players took part in a mini-tournament for a friendly, festive and inter-generational evening bringing together both adults and beginners of the club as well as parents. Some were even dressed up in Halloween colors and the players ended the evening in style by sharing an aperitif.

SLO Badminton organizes an event before all holidays. The next one is planned before Christmas. The club will soon participate in interclub championships and youth tournaments. There is still time to join SLO Badminton for the rest of the season within a group, where a good atmosphere reigns. Hours are as follows: Tuesday, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. for adults; Wednesday, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for young people and adults; Thursday, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., free training; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for young people. A new slot is open on Sunday evening, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
