30-year-old American forward Austin Ortega joined the HC Slovan Bratislava hockey team. He comes to the Slovak extra league with the business card of a productive player, which he confirmed during the past three seasons in the jersey of EHC Red Bull Munich. Ortega signed a contract in his new place of work until the end of the 2024/2025 season. In the uniform of the Munich club, he had a balance of 21 goals and 17 assists in 56 matches of the 2023/2024 season. He has played six seasons in the highest competitions in Europe, in addition to the German DEL, he also played in Sweden, Finland and the international IceHL.

Canadian hockey player Wade Murphy transferred from Slovan Bratislava to HK Poprad. The 30-year-old attacker managed to play 10 matches for the “Whites” this season in the Tipos extraliga with a balance of eight points (6+2).
