Some records to beat in week 8 of the NFL

A list of some personal or all-time records that can be broken or equaled in the eighth weekend of the NFL.

Between Washington’s Jayden Daniels (5 wins), Denver’s Bo Nix (4) and Chicago’s Caleb Williams (4), rookie quarterbacks have totaled 13 wins this season, tied with 1987 (13 wins combined) for the most second-most rookie quarterbacks in the first seven weeks of a season in NFL history, behind only 2012 (14).
The 2024 season may become the third in NFL history in which three rookie quarterbacks each had five or more wins, following 2012 (Robert Griffin III, Andrew Luck, Ryan Tannehill, Brandon Weeden and Russell Wilson) and 2018 (Josh Allen , Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield).
