Jakarta –
Enea Bastianini is reluctant to help his teammate, Francesco Bagnaia, become MotoGP champion in 2024. He is still determined to win in the remainder of the season.
There are only two races remaining in MotoGP 2024, namely the Malaysia and Valencia series. Of all the participants, only Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia have the chance to win the world title.
Martin currently tops the 2024 MotoGP standings with 453 points. Bagnaia is right below him with 436 points, or just 17 points away from Martinator.

Martin and Bagnaia inevitably have to win in Malaysia and Valencia in order to become champions. Both will compete at the Sepang Circuit, Sunday (3/11/2024).
Enea Bastianini spoke about Martin and Bagnaia’s rivalry. Even though they both defend the factory Ducati team, he is reluctant to facilitate Pecco’s steps to achieve the world title.
Bastianini emphasized this after the Thailand MotoGP race which Bagnaia won last weekend. This Italian racer said he also wanted to win at the Malaysian MotoGP.
“No, this is not the time [membantu Pecco]. “I want to win in Malaysia too,” said Bastianini, as reported by Crash.
“Now, [perebutan gelar] mathematically only for two riders, Jorge and Pecco. He [Bagnaia] showed incredible potential,” he said after the Thailand MotoGP race.
“I also spoke to him before the race and he was not very positive for the race. In the warm-up, me and him were not fast, but in the end, for the race, we were competitive.”
“He was a little more lucky, because in the first lap he was in first position and it was much easier, but in the end he put in a lot of effort and won. Now, the gap is 17 points [antara Martin dan Bagnaia],” Bastianini revealed.
