Almost half a year after his last competitive game, striker Fabian Klos has finally ended his career. The 36-year-old invited people to a friendly test of strength with many football celebrities on the Bielefelder Alm under the motto “The last Dance”. Klos played a total of 463 competitive games for the former Bundesliga club between 2011 and 2024 and scored 180 goals.

The farewell game in the afternoon featured, among others, 2014 world champion Christoph Kramer, second division record goalscorer Simon Terodde and Bielefeld’s former goalkeeper Stefan Ortega, i.ehe plays for Manchester City and won the Champions League with the English in 2023, among other things. The duel between the team “Bundesliga and Friends” and the “Ascent Heroes” ended 8:7 (3:3), Klos played for both teams and scored three more goals.
