Strong 7-0 victory for Puertas Padilla Cartagena in the candy box
Puertas Padilla Cartagena defeated the Galician club As Neves at home, in a dream debut in the candy box with a result of 7-0. The Cartagena players came out energized thanks to a fan that supported the team from start to finish.
The mixed doubles of Sanjurjo and Lorenzo put the first point on the scoreboard with a 118/11-9/11-8, then the men’s and women’s doubles followed the same dynamic with Ivorra-Peñalver 11-7/11-7/11- 8 and Jones-Sanjurjo 11-7/11-5/11-7. Later it was the turn of the singles where Sara Peñalver did not slow down, giving the victory by 111/11-5/11-2, while Alcalá once again brought out all her quality to put the fifth point on the scoreboard by 11-8/11- 8/8-11/11-10, the Ukrainian Polina Buhrova made the sixth point thanks to also winning due to an injury to her rival and Harry Huang closed the score 7-0 with a score of 11-0/11-6/11-1 .
