29th (Reuters) – Yannik Sinner (23, Italy), the world No. 1 ranked men’s tennis player, announced on the 29th that he has withdrawn from the Paris Masters tournament due to a virus infection.
In a video message released by tournament organizers, Sinner said, “I’m really disappointed that I won’t be able to play in this tournament.I arrived early to prepare, but I didn’t feel well.” He will feel better, but his body is not in a condition to play.”
Novak Djokovic (Serbia), who holds the record for most Grand Slam tournaments with 24 wins, also announced last week that he would be absent from the Masters in Paris.
