Beelen (like) – Badminton is a sport played with rackets and shuttlecocks. In the hall, the players face each other – separated by a net. The players try to hit the shuttlecock over the net in such a way that the opponent can no longer bring it back. Badminton is an Olympic sport that can also be played in Beelen.

The badminton department at the Blau-Weiß Beelen sports club would like to promote this sport in Beelen and is therefore offering free trial training. Children, young people and adults, including older people, are invited. On Sunday, November 3rd, anyone interested can get to know badminton in the Axtbachhalle between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. – free of charge. Rackets and shuttlecocks are provided. Catering will be provided for the athletes and spectators.
