Gabriele Protto from Cherasco won the gold medal at the Italian Archery Championships held in Camaiore between 5 and 8 September.
It was an exceptional performance given his young age, fourteen: he played a splendid race, establishing his personal best, obtaining gold in the “Boys’ Olympic Arch” section.
A long and intense event, made even more complicated by the adverse weather conditions, especially on the final day of the races: hail, torrential rain and lightning did not even allow the conclusion of all the scheduled races.
The Cherasco native can already boast of the following titles: 2024 Regional Indoor Champion in the Boys’ Olympic Men’s class, individual, Regional Champion 2024 outdoors in the Boys’ Men’s Olympic class, individual, Regional Indoor Team Champion 2024, Third Place in the Italian Regional Cup in the Boys’ Olympic Individual class, Third Ranked for the 2024 Italian Regions Cup with the Piedmont Region.

Daniele Abrate: 1° Mix Team place in the 2024 Outdoor Regional Championship, regional champion in the 2024 Campaign of the individual Men’s Olympic Arch, third place in the Olympic Men’s Student category at the 2024 Outdoor Regional Championships.
Leonardo Arossa: regional team champion in the 2024 Olympic Men’s Boys Class, 2nd place in the 2024 Outdoor Regional Championships in the Olympic Men’s Class, 2024 regional outdoor team champion in the 2024 Indoor Olympic Men’s Class.
Emma Bergia: 1st place Mix Team at the 2024 outdoor Regional Championship, 2nd place in the Olympic Female Student category class at the 2024 Outdoor Regional Championships, 2nd place in the female Olympic campaign regional championship.
Arnaldo Mattia Tedesco: 2024 regional Indoor champion in the Boys Men’s Olympic individual class, regional champion 2024 outdoor in the Boys Men’s Olympic individual class.
