Juan Dillon presented his column today related to the meeting of the BRICS group in search of alternatives due to the Western blockade. At the same time, he analyzed the positions of the armed confrontation in Middle East.
The debate about victims in the Middle East
The journalist began with a rhetorical question: “How to make thought extremists understand, not only the images they should see of what happened on October 6 (2023), but also what is happening now in Lebanon, of mosques that were used by terrorism, in this case Hezbollah, for modern arsenals to directly attack the Jewish people.”
In that sense, he clarified his position before the audience: “We do not have animosity against the Palestinian peoplewho in many cases has been a victim. It has been kidnapped by terrorism from both Hezbollah and Hamas, to develop and take as much Lebanon, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank”.
On the other hand, he noted that it would be inappropriate to criticize Benjamin Netanyahu for his actions against terrorism, since a conventional war is not taking place, in the midst of international political abandonment, although not total, to Israel.

BRICS summit
This Wednesday the summit of the BRICS group began in Russia and the Kremlin will receive 36 “anti-West” world leaders. “There is concern here because Xi Jinping, Narendra Modi (Prime Minister of India) and others are trying to find commercial alternatives to bypass Western sanctions for the war being fought in Ukraine.”
Dillon did not miss the sanctions that go towards China, a nation that is helping other conflict situations in the world at this time. “Nicolás Maduro is going to be with President Vladimir Putin”, he added between the meetings that the Russian leader will have.
