Zay Flowers set a career-high with 132 receiving yards, while Mark Andrews scored his first touchdown of the season.

For the Commanders, rookie Jayden Daniels threw two touchdown passes to Terry McLaurin, but the team suffered from the absence of Brian Robinson Jr., limiting their ground game to just 52 yards.

The Lions roar ever louder

The Detroit Lions crushed the Dallas Cowboys 47-9, handing Dallas a fourth straight home loss.

Jared Goff threw for 315 yards and three touchdowns, while David Montgomery added two rushing touchdowns. However, the Lions (4-1) lost Aidan Hutchinson to a serious left shin injury that will require surgery.

Despite the absence of Micah Parsons, Goff had an impeccable performance, becoming the second QB with a rating of at least 150 in two consecutive games.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers resisted a comeback from the Saints in the first period and several turnovers to beat the New Orleans Saints by a river score of 51-27.

Baker Mayfield, despite three turnovers, threw for 325 yards and four touchdowns, helping Tampa Bay (4-2) deliver a symbolic victory to fans hit by Hurricane Milton. Chris Godwin chipped in with two touchdowns, including a spectacular 55-yarder after a short catch and several missed tackles by the Saints.

Spencer Rattler, the Saints’ rookie quarterback, threw for 243 yards and a touchdown, but his team (2-4) struggled early in the game and in the second half accumulating a fourth straight loss. New Orleans’ defense struggled to contain the Bucs’ offense, which totaled 594 total yards, including 277 rushing yards, led by Sean Tucker with 136 yards and a touchdown.
