Morelia, Mich, October 19, 2024.- This morning, the homicide by firearm of Daniel Alejandro Laison Estrella, escort of the president of Huiramba, José Humberto García Domínguez, was recorded on the Morelia-Pátzcuaro highway, near the town of Uruapilla in the municipality of Morelia.
According to police reports, the victim was found lying on the side of a truck stop, heading towards Pátzcuaro. A few meters away, a white Volkswagen car was located, abandoned with its doors open and traces of blood.
The tactical paramedics of the Public Order Restoration Group of the Michoacán Civil Guard confirmed the death of the victim after carrying out the necessary checks.
Subsequently, the area was cordoned off by the civil guards and the national guards, and traffic on the road in the direction of Pátzcuaro was closed and diverted.
Immediately, the staff of the State Attorney General’s Office began investigations into the crime to clarify the facts and determine the causes of the murder.
