The “Community Civic Spaces” project was launched by the Minister for Sport and Youth, Andrea Abodi, in collaboration with the Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Service of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and Sport and Health SpA. This project represents an appeal for the social participation of young people between 14 and 34 years old and has also been activated in Modena, in Via delle Suore 441, where free sporting and extra-sporting activities are offered to promote youth protagonism and social inclusion.
According to the president of Sport e Salute Spa, Marco Mezzaroma, the initiative aims to create aggregation hubs for young people with programs that enhance youth talents and promote an active lifestyle. Through these “Civic Spaces”, we want to strengthen the educational values of sport such as team spirit, commitment and mutual respect, as well as encouraging sports associations to create educational networks for young people.
