The derby is Paris! – Paris Basketball

Second match at the Accor Arena of the week and second big win for our Paris Basketball players! Against Nanterre, we led from start to finish to achieve a big success (102-86) and thus grant ourselves a new derby.

Uncompromising at the Accor Arena in front of 8,431 people! Our Parisians rolled from the start with two three-point shots from Tyson Ward to quickly give us a 10-point lead. Present on both sides of the field, Enzo Shahrvin then smashes the circle after a counter-attack pattern. So here is a first gap after 10 minutes (30-19).

TJ Shorts is also starting to find his rhythm, just before Tyson signs the poster for the start of the season, enough to delight Jok’Air and Zack Nani, even Fabrice Éboué present courtside for the occasion. With great skill behind the arc, our players take flight just like Collin Malcolm who absorbs the contact before finishing with a lay-up (52-34).

When we return from the locker room, our defense goes up another notch. This time, it’s Léopold Cavalière’s turn to delight the public by pretending to hand-to-hand before blowing up the hoop with a huge dunk. Sebastian Herrera and Nadir Hifi scored from afar to give us a nice lead before the last 10 minutes (79-53).

Pushed by the Parisian public, our Paris Basketball players controlled the end of the match and won a new victory in this derby (102-86). They thus extend their winning streak in Betclic ELITE with a 4th consecutive success!

On the Parisian side, six players exceed the 9-point mark. It was Nadir who finished top scorer with his 18 units, while Léopold Cavalière accumulated 10 points (100% shooting), 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
