MadridTwo days after the resignation of Íñigo Errejón, leaders of Sumar appeared in a press conference and admitted that “the detection and prevention mechanisms” of the organization “failed”, but denied that they had known for some time the “serious information” that has appeared about his export spokesman in Congress. The party assumes “responsibility” for not having detected it earlier, but has denied having covered up Errejón. “If we had known the serious information earlier, Errejón would have ceased his duties long before,” said the organization’s spokesman and Minister of Culture, Ernest Urtasun.

Sumar has made herself available to the victims and has announced that she will continue with the “internal procedure to clarify any fact contrary to her feminist values”.
“It’s drugs on teu”
In the last few hours, more witnesses have appeared on the Instagram account of journalist Cristina Fallarás, who revealed the first complaint against Errejón on Tuesday. “He makes you completely his because no matter how much you don’t want it, he does it through a thousand ways of punishment,” recounts another victim of Sumar’s export spokesman, who had sex with him. This witness describes a similar pattern to the previous ones: “Immediately he put the latch and at that moment I knew I had made a mistake. He came towards me and I was completely blocked, I became a puppet.” This woman recounts how he “threw her against the bed”: “He puts you in all the shapes he wants and hurts you” and “does drugs on you”.
