More than 55,000 tickets have already been sold for the opening match of the Women’s World Cup in England, as well as for the final at Twickenham and the match for 3rd place.
World Rugby announced this Wednesday that the draw for the groups for the 2025 Women’s World Cup, organized in England, will take place on Thursday October 17. A draw which will be followed live at 7:20 p.m. on the BBC and on the site Rugby Pass TV. The full competition schedule will then be revealed on Tuesday October 22.
The International Federation reveals that more than 55,000 tickets have already been sold for the opening match at Sunderland, as well as the final at Twickenham and the match for 3rd place. For the moment, ten teams have already qualified: Canada, France, Brazil, Ireland, South Africa, Japan, the United States, Fiji, New Zealand, defending champion, and England, organizing country. The last six available places will be allocated at the end of the “WXV” tournament which is currently taking place.
