The launch of BRTK’s new broadcast period was made with the slogan “We Overcome Obstacles” – BRTK

Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation’s new broadcasting season launch was held in the front garden of the institution with the slogan “We Overcome Obstacles”.

President Ersin Tatar, BRTK Director Meryem Çavuşoğlu Özkurt, BRTK Chairman Salih Can Doratlı and officials of the Champion Angels Keeping Alive Association also attended the night.

In the opening speeches of the event, the “3 Minutes of Darkness for Justice” action organized by the Association for the Survival of Champion Angels was pointed out. At 20:00, the lights of the institution were turned off for 3 minutes to support the action.

Ruşen Karakaya, President of the Champion Angels Keeping Alive Association, made a speech at the night and touched upon the “3 Minutes of Darkness for Justice” action. Karakaya also pointed out the judicial process in his speech.

President Ersin Tatar also made a speech at the night and emphasized that BRTK is an important institution and that it is necessary to strengthen BRTK under the leadership of the Institution Director. In his speech, the President also touched upon the litigation process of the Champion Angels.

Tatar said, “We carry the pain of Champion Angels in our hearts due to the earthquake. There is a court hearing on the 22nd, hopefully there will be a result. Isias is our common cause and we have to continue our cause. “The government and the state are with the families,” he said.

In his speech, President Ersin Tatar wished BRTK success in the new broadcasting period.

On the launch night, in addition to the Vakıflar Wheelchair Basketball Team, Fenerbahçe and İskenderun Wheelchair Basketball Teams also played an exhibition match.

During the night, the repertoire of Cypriot melodies of The Native Cypriot, one of the country’s popular bands, met with music lovers.

On the other hand, 4 teams of the Turkish Wheelchair Basketball Super League will take to the field for the Mustafa Çelik Memorial Tournament.

The opening match of the organization, Vakıflar – Fenerbahçe, will be played tomorrow at 09.30 at Atatürk Sports Hall. The match will be broadcast live on BRT 2.

The final of the Mustafa Çelik Memorial Tournament will be broadcast live on BRT 2 on Saturday, October 19, starting at 17.30.

Within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation and the Disabled Sports Federation, all matches that the Vakıflar Wheelchair Basketball Team will play in Nicosia will be broadcast live on BRT screens throughout the season.
