The Lakers won this Thursday evening, with an exceptional performance from their rookie, Dalton Knecht. Praise is pouring in for the young player, who could well have an impressive campaign.
Since last June, following the draft NBAmany people are convinced that the Lakers achieved the steal of the event. A player who fell too low and who deserved to finish in the top 10 according to recruiters: Dalton Knecht. The latter had a few good shooting matches, but he just hit hard this Thursday against the Suns.
Lakers rookie catches fire
While the meeting was relatively close, the Angelina managed to make the difference after extra time. A 128-122 success, especially possible thanks to the performance of Knecht. He finished with 35 points, 10/18 shooting, 8/13 three-pointers, 7 rebounds and 2 steals. A real heat stroke which made all the difference.

To better understand, Knecht scored 12 points in the fourth quarter at 3/3 behind the arc, then 13 points in overtime with a 3/4 three-pointer, allowing him to reach 35 units. A real carnage for the rookie, already renowned as being a real shooter. And that’s not likely to change after this performance.
It’s not for nothing that Knecht will be in the Lakers’ rotation this season. Rookie or not, he will be entitled to a nice role off the bench, especially when we know that his team needs a real long-distance threat. On the X network, compliments are pouring in.

Dalton Knecht has just struck hard with the Lakers, in addition to a warning for the rest of the league. The rookie intends to have a crazy campaign, with a franchise that must be rubbing its hands today.
