Faithful to tradition, the Petit Bélier regional tournament marks the start of the All Saints’ Day holidays. This year, a real participation record is expected at the <a href="https://www.archysport.com/2022/03/young-brittany-championship/" title="Young Brittany Championship”>Penhars Sports Hall. On October 19 and 20, 236 badists from all over Brittany and even Île-de-France will compete in different events (singles, doubles, mixed). A new feature this year: all matches will be played on carpet, thanks to the provision of four courts by the Concarneau club.

With 45 clubs represented, this tournament is a true showcase of badminton in Brittany. Ujap Badminton, the organizing club, has noted a significant increase in registrations, both at club level and for individual players. Quimper residents will be particularly numerous with 42 registrations. Many players will be worth watching closely, particularly among the Quimperois: Simon MANEO, Maxence THOMAS, Lilian OLLIVIER, Vincent GOURVES, Bredan DARVEZ-BORNOS, Pol LABORDE, Agathe BURGAUD, Camille LE BERRE-MOREAU, Lili LOUARN, and many more others. But be careful, the competition will be tough and surprises cannot be ruled out.
With nearly 350 matches on the program, the tournament promises to be particularly intense. Players will have to demonstrate concentration and efficiency to hope to win a title. Ujap Badminton invites all badminton fans to come and encourage the players. This will be an opportunity to spend an excellent sporting and friendly weekend.
