The Provincial Badminton Circuit will know its winners this Sunday

In the absolute category, both in the individual modality, in favor of Victor Ortega, and in doubles, by the couple formed by Manuel Acero and Santiago Martínez, are virtually resolved with greater competition for the second and third places on the podium.

The Soriana Badminton Delegation has called for Sunday the third and final test of the Provincial Badminton Circuit and will proclaim the champions of the 2024 edition. With the results of the tests from the past months of May and September, Sunday’s competition It will settle the first three places on the podium in the absolute, sub17 and sub13 categories.

In the absolute category, both in the individual modality, in favor of Victor Ortega, and in doubles, by the couple formed by Manuel Acero and Santiago Martínez, are virtually resolved with greater competition for the second and third places on the podium.

In the under-17 category, Daniel Marín, Carmen Gómez and María Gonzalez lead the classification, separated by only ten points in the first three places in the table, these being the main candidates for medal positions.

In the doubles of this category, the duo made up of Alvaro Gómez and Daniel Marín are prominent in the first position, with the fight for the rest of the podium positions being more open.

As for the little ones, the sub-13s, Eduardo Hernández and Adrián Rosa are tied for first position in singles and both start as first classified in the doubles table

This last test will be held this Sunday the 27th at the Fuente del Rey Sports Center starting at nine o’clock, with the finals scheduled to take place at half an hour in the afternoon with the subsequent awards ceremony.

On the previous day, Saturday, several members of the Soria-CS24 Badminton Club will compete in a test in the Navarrese town of Estella that will count towards the national ranking. Participating: Aarón Barrera, Alvaro Gómez and Daniel Marín in the sub15 category, Isabel Corchón, Carmen Gómez and María Gonzalez in the sub17 category and Gustavo Barrera in the senior category.

Finally, Jimena Ayllón will be in the game in the Territorial Master of Cantabría for the under-15 category where she will compete in the singles and mixed doubles modalities alongside the Asturian Saúl Bernabeu.
