The Club Colegio del Sur team, Mamis Hockey Category, won the League title by defeating their counterpart from Las Águilas on penalties.

On Saturday night, the final of the Hockey Moms League was played, a tournament organized by the moms category leaders of each of the clubs in the capital city.
In the aforementioned final, the teams from Club Colegio del Sur and Las Águilas Rugby Club faced each other, in the Ushuaia Rugby Club gym.
At 9 p.m. the ball began to roll. The two teams took the first ten minutes of the first quarter to study their rival without generating too many actions in the rival goal.
Already in the second period, emotions appeared, awakening the breath of their supporters who had come in large numbers to cheer on their respective teams.
The first joy was for the fuchsia of Las Águilas. Through a collective play, Solange Ayala ended up beating Colegio del Sur goalkeeper, Daniela Correa.
Equality did not take long to arrive since after a short corner in favor of Colegió del Sur, Nana Heredia achieved partial parity. The second quarter ended with a goal apiece.
The third 10 minutes continued in the same way with both teams going for the victory. The unevenness came 2 minutes into the game through Bárbara Hotz, placing Las Águilas 2 x 1.
The joy did not last long for Fuchsia because the next minute the ball touched the foot of one of the Las Águilas players. A short corner was taken in favor of Colegio del Sur, where multifunctional Andrea Álvarez nailed it far from the reach of goalkeeper Mariángeles Gómez, to make the score 2 to 2.
The unevenness of this quarter was captured by Mariana Puebla for the schoolgirls, raising the score 3 x 2, for the tricolors led by Javier Larios.
The last 10 minutes were played with a lot of pace since it was the last quarter of the tournament. The Eagles charged to reverse history.
Equality came for the fuchsia through a new short corner, executed by Mirta García, defeating Daniela Correa who could do nothing to prevent the fall of her fence.
Colegio did not want to go to penalties, they advanced their lines and once again the ball bounced off the foot of a Las Águilas player. This corner was capitalized by the best player of the match Nana Heredia, with a superb shot she beat goalkeeper Gómez making the partial score 4-3.
The Eagles went in search of the heroic and ended up achieving it through Bárbara Hotz, who also had a great performance, leaving the final score at 4 goals for each team.
The tournament ended up being decided by Australian penalties. From the maximum penalty, Colegio del Sur was better and ended up taking it 2 penalties to 0.
Nana Heredia and Carolina Ricchieri converted for Colegio del Sur. Andrea Álvarez’s shot went wide. The collegiate goalkeeper, Daniela Correa, stopped the shot from Mirta Barneche and Hernández.
