From October 29 to November 4, the <a href="https://www.archysport.com/2023/05/argentina-left-for-the-youth-parapan-american-games-in-bogota/" title="Argentina left for the Youth Parapan American Games in Bogotá”>Cayetano Cañizares Coliseum will be the scene of the South American Wheelchair Basketball Championship, where the teams from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Venezuela and Colombia will compete.

Colombia will debut this Tuesday facing Peru. On Wednesday they will face Venezuela. On Thursday they will play against Argentina and on Friday, at 6:30 pm, they will face Chile. The round-robin phase will close on Saturday with Brazil.

Bogotá, October 29, 2024. From October 29 to November 4, the Cayetano Cañizares Coliseum will be the scene of the South American Wheelchair Basketball Championship, where the teams from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Venezuela and Colombia will compete.
Thanks to the agreement signed for 900 million pesos between the Ministry of Sports and the Colombian Wheelchair Basketball Federation, the preparation of the Colombian National Team is supported, not only with the team’s training, but also with the organization of events, concentrations and the sports implementation necessary for their different competitions.
Colombia National Team
The team is made up of players who won the silver medal in the recent Parapan American Games in Santiago 2023, along with young talents who will contribute to the generational change of the national team.
Preparation for this international tournament took place at the High Performance Center (CAR) of the Ministry of Sports. In addition, the players participated in national and international competitions, which has allowed them to improve their performance and strengthen their cohesion as a team.
