The tough guy Gudas threw his fists at his opponent. The refs save Doan from the loading dock

Czech defender Radko Gudas once again performed in his favorite role as a tough guy. The captain of Anaheim threw his fists at Josh Doan in an NHL hockey game, and the comments of the fans agree: The referees saved the youngster from Utah from a serious beating.

In the 8th minute of the final period, with the score tied at 3:3, Gudas stepped on Clayton Keller with a hard tackle, and to Doan’s credit, he did not hesitate to take revenge on his partner, even though his opponent was a known tough guy.

However, the 22-year-old American forward soon realized that he had somewhat overestimated his strength after all.

Gudas, this year’s world champion from the championship in Prague, knocked off his helmet and inflicted a few sharp blows on his body. However, the referees ended the fight before the rivals could fall to the ice and separated the two hockey players from each other.

“The refs just saved Doan from taking a beating,” fans agreed in the comments on social media.

Both wrestlers received a 2 + 2 minute penalty and during their stay in disgrace, Utah took the lead.

However, Anaheim managed to equalize and after 54 seconds of overtime, they also got an extra point.

This year’s Czech world champion Lukáš Dostál was in goal for the winners, he neutralized 26 opponent shots and won the award for the third star of the match.

His goalkeeper counterpart, Karel Vejmelka, remained only on the Utah bench.
