The 21st edition of the San Saturio Archery Tournament already has winners after the competition was held this Sunday morning at the Fuente del Rey sports center with the participation of 36 shooters, of which five were from the Aragonese Federation and the rest of Castilla y León. He Club Alto Real from the capital of Soria was the organizer and the team that won the majority of the victories. There were two rounds of 30 arrows to find out the name of the winners.
The event was a qualifying event for the competitions organized by the Royal Spanish Archery Federation. It’s that Raus situation (Unified Regional Room Ranking), and qualifying for national events which meant that there were archers from other provinces.
The test was held at five modalities bow available, compound bow, recurve, longbow, naked and traditional. The day started at 9:00 a.m. with the reception and registration of participants and at 9:30 a.m. the warm-ups took place. The competition began at 10:00.
In the joint arch modality, the victory went to the Aragonese Peter Langarita. It was the only foreign victory since the rest went to shooters from Alto Real.
In recurve bow, which is the Olympic modality, the winner was Sara Chamarro. In traditional bow, the best classified was also the Soriano Jaime Perez. Alvaro Buberos He took the victory in the longbow category.
In the under 14 category, the winner of the San Saturio archery tournament was the young man from Soriano Martin Benito.
