And this year saw many new faces, so much so that it was necessary to split the courses to accommodate, in good conditions, all these future champions. The Olympics effect with Teddy Riner may have had something to do with it.
Jérôme Marut, the new president of the club, regularly comes to the edge of the tatami on which beginner classes take place with a more relaxed pace; and courses for the most seasoned with a slightly more sustained pace and a wider range of learning for those who already dream of competitions and medals.
So, on Tuesdays and Fridays, the tatami resounds with the sound of falls! Proof that some youngsters are already thinking about the next Toketa challenge!
