Hidalgo Sport. Lauro Campos.- In order to strengthen its coaching staff and improve its results, the Hidalgo Table Tennis Association (AHTM) awaits the arrival of an international coach.
Luis Figueroa Trejo, head of the organization, indicated that he is a Cuban coach, who would be close to joining the association, after an outstanding work with the Peruvian national team.
“We are about to receive a Cuban coach, we want to integrate him to strengthen ourselves, he is a very experienced coach,” said the table tennis representative in the entity.
The manager indicated that the coaches that the AHTM has are not enough to cover the demand of students. Likewise, he mentioned that the objective is also to have a person so that table tennis has a rebound.
“The discipline itself demands it, it is an individual sport, it is not like taekwondo, where one can take care of 20 students. We want a third reinforcement to get out of the places we are in,” he added.
In the Hidalgo Table Tennis Association, he indicated that there are currently only two coaches, so he sees the incorporation of one more necessary to work more punctually with each student.
