The objective of the interventions was the search for firearms, homemade weapons (tumberas) and compressed air rifles, based on various causes of qualified threats between antagonistic groups in the Juan Díaz de Solís neighborhood.
The confrontation between the rioters had been generating great concern among the neighbors. Likewise, the investigation is related to a criminal incident that occurred last weekend, where a woman was injured in the leg by a homemade weapon.
As a result of the raids, two tumberas, a 16-gauge cartridge, a 16-gauge shotgun and two black compressed air rifles were seized. Furthermore, last night, October 23, a minor under 16 years of age was arrested, who would be linked to the events investigated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in relation to the raids carried out.
Both the seized material and the minor are at the disposal of Drs. Callegaris and Jaime Silva, who are in charge of two parallel cases.
