BarcelonaThe Mossos d’Esquadra are investigating a theft that happened on Tuesday night in Barcelona. So far, nothing comes out of the day-to-day criminality of the Catalan capital. However, the victim was a manager of Bayern Munich. The Bavarian team plays this Wednesday night against Barça at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, in the third game of the Champions League this season. The players and also the Bayern entourage, including the managers, were already in Barcelona this Tuesday and are staying at the Skipper hotel, in the Olympic port, next to the Mapfre tower and the Arts hotel.
Precisely, according to police sources, the robbery took place on Avinguda litoral, 32, 300 meters from the hotel where the Bavarian players are concentrated. It was 11:40 p.m. this Wednesday and the Bayern manager, whose name has not yet emerged, suffered a careless theft. In other words, they stole him while they were distracting him, without the use of violence. Specifically, they stole his mobile phone, watch and also his wallet.
At the moment, no arrests have been made and the Mossos d’Esquadra have opened an investigation to clarify the facts and arrest those responsible. The theft is being investigated by the Titani group, which specializes in watch thefts.
