Third defeat in as many matches, the second away, for Bvc Sanremo E.On. The Sanremo team, set up in synergy with Rari Nantes Bordighera, took to the field with the heavy absences of Colombo, Massa, Iamundo, Vivo and could do nothing against the hosts, who appeared more physical and determined.
“We don’t make excuses, but we were penalized by absences and by refereeing that was rather tolerant towards the opponents’ physical play. However, Lavagna deserved it, playing with an intensity that we were unable to replicate. At the moment, for various reasons, we have many absences and in these conditions it is difficult to compete in this championship” was the comment from BVC coach Emanuele Favari at the end of the match.
In the next round, Bvc Sanremo will play at home on Saturday 2 November against Cogoleto (Palasport Biancheri di Bordighera, 6pm).
